Using This Site

Registration;

To register you will need a valid email. All users must be verified by the CU PRO/Website Admin. If you're afraid I won't recognise you, send an email to cu //at/ skynet /DoT/// ie with your real name and someone in the CU who knows you. I'll try and be prompt but it could be a couple of days before your account is enabled. Part of the security is to allow images to be uploaded while reducing the possibility of them being misused!

IMPORTANT

Your user name is Case Sensitive! which means, ciaran is a different user from Ciaran.

Currently there are some issues with user registration, passwords seem not to be stored. Once you have activated your account, and attempted to log in (it should be successful first time) Log out again, click the 'I've forgotten my password' link and follow instructions. Once you get the email you should be able to change your password, and successfully log in.

I've hacked the registration script and validation to fix this error, users registration should work just fine now. You'll still have to wait to be validated by the admin though, please be patient, its for your own protection ;).

Initially your permissions are limited but as soon as I notice, CU members will be granted permissions to publish blogs and upload files and images.

Once you have registered, you should go to User Preferences and set up My Tiki, Webmail, details etc. There will be a tutorial in this coming soon.

Bugs to be Aware Of;

Just to let you know, Tikiwiki the engine this site runs on is quite a big package, and also not quite perfect. Report bugs that aren't listed here to cu /at// skynet /dot// ie. Then I can list them, find out work arounds, fix them, or report them on the main tikiwiki site.

• In image galleries the 'next image' button doesn't work, last image and back do, so for now they can be used instead, slideshow also works still. (**Fixed** Because I am a genius!! Learning how to program 'php')
• User password lost on Registration (**Fixed** Learnt more php )
